About Us

In 1991, Eastern Applied Research began as a regional service provider for x-ray fluorescence instruments.  Technical associates offered on-site calibration, consultation and repair services with a focus on the East Coast of the United States.  Those associates saw the need for complete solutions relating to XRF Technology from a single source and began an in-house standards laboratory as well as offering XRF analyzers for their clients testing needs.

Maintaining accreditation has been a critical factor in Eastern Applied’s growth as it is an important factor to many clients.  In addition to offering accredited certification services, the organization has grown over the past two decades due to its overall dedication to offering efficient response time and competitive pricing (an overall dedication to customer satisfaction).

Services

New Reference Standards Manufacturing: While the laboratory specializes in coating thickness standards (from basic single layer through complex coating applications) we are able to offer standards for all models of x-ray fluorescence analyzers and meet a wide range of application needs.  Coating thickness, hazardous substances, composition and more.

Standards Recertification Services: Excellent customer service is a focus of the standards laboratory; offering fast turn-around on certification services with the proper paperwork required to meet our clients compliance requirements. 

Instrument Certification: North American field technicians provide efficient, on-site, certification services of x-ray fluorescence analyzers.  The trained technical staff will provide a general review and cleaning of the system along with certification of the instruments performance to industry requirements.
