Assessors and Technical Experts

Assessors and Technical Experts play a vital role for Laboratory Accreditation Bureau. The effectiveness and credibility of the accreditation process depends on the competence, professionalism and integrity of its Assessors and Technical Experts.  Assessors must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing while maintaining a suitable and effective personality.  All must have direct laboratory experience in the fields of testing and calibration for which they will be performing assessments.  


Confidentially, Ethics, and Conduct

All L-A-B Assessors and Technical Experts are trained by L-A-B and required to sign ethics and code of conduct forms to formally confirm their willingness to observe and be bound by strict L-A-B guidelines.  Assessors and Technical Experts ensure the impartiality of their conduct by declaring a conflict of interest with any activity related to the laboratory and the accreditation process. 

Assessor Attributes

L-A-B Assessors and Technical Experts are competent in order to effectively plan and conduct assessments and report assessment results.  Competence is based on the foundation provided by education, training and experience.  Assessors and Technical Expert are measured by the demonstration of the application of specific knowledge, skills and personal attributes which includes the following:
